In diesem Workshop bringen wir durch Viyanayama, der Methode zur Anordung der Asanas, den energetischen Körper, den Pranakörper bzw. die Prana-Sakti in Erfahrung. Hatha Vinyasa Level 3 |
In this sadhana we use viyanayama, the art of sequencing, to expierence the energetic (pranic) body or the prana sakti. Followed by an intense upward flow by asana, pranayama and so-ham meditation we concentrate energy (prana) in the crown of the head which is called siva consciousness in kashmir shivaism. ACROYOGA FUNDAMENTALS Open your practice with the ease, comfort and the support of a partner. This workshop touches upon all the disciplines that AcroYoga offers, combining Yoga, Acrobatics, and Thai Massage. The class experience includes: Circle Ceremony, Mirrored Asana, Partner Yoga Flow, Assisted Inversions, Partner Acrobatics, Flying Sequences and Thai Massage. Grounded in the breath, we will draw upon the natural forces of gravity and "metta" loving kindness to encourage the body to let go of fear and tension. Students are requested to have familiarity with yoga, all levels are welcome. No partner necessary!

INVERT, INVOLVE, EMPOWER The Mystery of inversions is no match for the wisdom of acrobatic training techniques! Students will learn the AcroYoga Asana sequence, which provides tools for the understanding and embodiment of headstand and shoulderstand (the King and Queen of Asanas), as well as forearmstand and handstand. After solidifying spotting techniques, we will progress to Basic Partner Acrobatics and Pyramids, cultivating trust, strength and flexibility while working as a team. A playful, safe, supportive environment will empower the whole room to be upside down and connect to the divine! No partner necessary!

In diesem Workshop werden die Yoga Positionen etwas länger gehalten, um Bereichen in unserem Körper ( wie z.B. Hüften, Schultern, Kniesehnen) mehr Aufmerksamkeit zu widmen und Zeit zum Entspannen zu geben. Der erwärmte Raum erlaubt es verletzungsfrei zu üben und diese Klasse zu geniessen. |

| Thursday- 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm Discussion of how David thinks Ashtanga Yoga should be taught and practiced based on his 32 years of daily practice and teaching. This class is the foundation for all students, and particularly teachers, who want a greater depth of understanding of the "big picture" of the most beneficial way to practice and teach Ashtanga Yoga. Friday- 6:30 pm- 9:00 pm 1st series in depth with thorough explanations of every step. Saturday- 10:00 am- 12:00 pm 1st series completed with less interruption by David's commentary, except for postures not covered the day before. Saturday- 4:00 pm- 6:30 pm History of Yoga, description and the history of Ashtanga Yoga, David's travels and adventures in Yoga, and his bringing Ashtanga Yoga to America and its eventual spread to the entire world. Sunday- 10:00 am- 12:00 pm An introduction to 2nd series in a way that everyone at all levels can try and enjoy. |
